Dublin Zoo

On Sunday I found myself with a 'free' day and so decided to go to Dublin Zoo. Something I haven't done in about 20 years. It was freezing but enjoyable. I was able to grab a few shots despite the crowds, the fencing and the safety windows..........suppose they are there for a reason :-)
It was fun to try and photograph something different but strangely the same. Not that I am saying that photographing animals is like photographing children or visa versa........but both subjects have their own agendas and they might not be the same as yours!
I was also impressed with the zoo as I felt that, compared with years ago, the animals seemed to be content on the whole with ample room and nice surroundings.

Wonderful, the sun is shining at long last after the long dark months of winter. So you deserve a little sunshine. I'm posting it in the form of a 'ray of sunshine'.........this guy is it!

These two really made me laugh with their antics. They just loved being outside and running about exploring.

But the excitement when they discovered the tractor.......... thankfully not until near the end of the morning!

These two are so funny, real little characters. I would be here all day if I posted all the photos of them and all their different expressions! I absolutely loved being with them.
